Learning and Development Trainer

Prospect Hospice has a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Learning and Development Trainer. You will play an important role in the life of the hospice, by designing and delivering first class training to managers and staff based at the hospice in Wroughton, as well as at our retail shops across our local area.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00)

This role will be primarily office based at the hospice in Wroughton, with flexibility for occasional working from home.

What is the role?

Working in support of our people development strategy, the Learning and Development Trainer will be designing and delivering internal and external training, understanding what our people need to learn and using your own expertise to help our people advance their skills and knowledge. You will contribute to the creation of an agile learning culture across the hospice, placing learning at the heart of people and talent development.

You will build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop a wide range of learning activities that meet the needs of all staff, that are closely aligned to current and emerging business needs. With your strong design and delivery skills you will be comfortable using digital technology to deliver outstanding learning.

This role will work closely with a Learning and Development Manager and alongside a small, high performing People team who work hard and have fun at the same time!

Do you have?

- A professional learning and development qualification (desirable)
- A proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality, engaging learning activities
- Extensive experience of supporting business change through learning and development
- A large toolkit of proven learning solutions to bring to the role
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Experience of working across an organisation with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent project management and analytical skills
- A strong commitment to equity and inclusion
- Experience of working in a charity or healthcare setting (desirable)
