We’re now looking for a Project Manager to join our passionate team.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will manage and organise the Directorate’s member-facing project and programme of work to deliver new services and benefits for members, including managing stakeholder meetings. 

You will act as the programme lead in order to represent the Directorate’s interests, report associated progress and obtain information relevant to the programme of work. 

Your role will also include:

- Preparing routine project documentation, including taking meeting notes and minutes
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure all parties have up-to-date information regarding timescales, adjustments, deliverables and assessed targets
- Creating, developing and maintaining programme management and co-ordination plans to ensure projects are organised in a cohesive and efficient manner
- Constructing and managing programme and project budgets

About You

To join us as a Project Manager, you’ll need:

- A proven track record of managing and delivering projects and programmes of work involving multiple stakeholder groups to time, cost and quality targets
- Experience of managing budgets and accounts, including cost and risk management, routine transactions, variances, forecasting and financial reporting
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- The ability to influence, negotiate and persuade others to achieve positive outcomes, objectives and deliverables
- Significant organisation skills and experience, with a proven ability to manage workloads despite conflicting priorities to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, for the purpose of communicating and engaging with a wide range of people, both tactfully and diplomatically
