The Role

Madgex are looking for an Apprentice Software Tester, who will report to the product owner. You will be working alongside their QA team in order to ensure the quality of Madgex products.
Automation Testing is at the core of what they do so you will be given every chance to build up the experience and knowledge to maintain their current suite of automated tests. If you are looking to start/pivot your career in QA within a technology business this could be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities

- Support your scrum team by writing new tests and executing functional tests for current and new products.
- Enhancing and maintaining quality of products
- You will have the opportunity to use and learn about the following technologies: Docker, Version control systems(Git, Bitbucket), Cloud services (AWS).

Desired Skills

- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills, to be able to communicate with the wider team
- Have a keen interest in technology
- Eager and willing to learn

Desirable experience

- Knowledge of JIRA
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Experience with APIs
- Experience or knowledge of working in an agile scrum environment

Qualification requirements

- 5 GCSE grades C and above or equivalent including Maths and English
- Preferably A level or equivalent(Level 3) technical qualifications and experience
