They are now seeking an Electrical Operations Director to join their team in Armagh and sustain and further develop the business.

The Role 

As the Electrical Operations Director, you will be tasked with playing a key leadership role within the organisation, principally providing leadership to the site teams, sustaining current business and further developing the company portfolio.

Liaising with clients and their representatives, you will oversee the management of sub-contractors and suppliers, ensure all work is compliant and engage with your fellow Directors regarding project requirements and new opportunities. 

Your role will also involve taking responsibility for:

- Labour allocation and forecasting 
- Cross-project re-deployment activities 
- The collation and updating of project costings
- Supporting the Managing Director with operational activities across the business
- Managing and tracking operational onboarding processes for new employees
- The implementation of standardised training requirements 
- The performance of contracts 
- The management of day-to-day contractual obligations

About You

To be considered as the Electrical Operations Director, you will need:

- At least five years’ experience in a similar operations role
- A proven record of delivering successful electrical projects
- Resource and training management experience
- Experience in developing operational forecasts and programmes
- Excellent project management skills
- The ability to manage and implement new process and procedures
- The ability to conduct operational audits and develop improvement plans
- The ability to fully utilise Microsoft Office
- Electrical qualifications (in electrical engineering or as a qualified electrician)
