Daytime Casual Worker

| £10.60 - £11.00 per hour

Employer: Havencare Homes and Support Limited
Sector/Specialism: Charity

Would you like a job where you can support individuals on a journey that empower them to realise their potential and direct their own life? Would you like a job where you can choose the hours that you are available to offer support? If so, we would love to hear from you.

How casual hours work:
Our casual Support Workers are vital to the work that we do and the people we support as they fulfil temporary vacant shifts that permanent staff are unable to due to annual leave, training, and other absences. As a result, casual worker hours are unestablished, but managers will endeavor to ensure they balance the needs of the service against our casual workers personal lives.

Our rotas are usually planned at least a month in advance but there is sometimes a need for short notice cover due to unexpected absences. We have a wide range of shift patterns available across Devon & Cornwall.

About us:
Working across Devon and Cornwall, Havencare Homes and Support Limited is a forward-thinking charity that supports people with learning disabilities and autism.

We offer Supported Living and Residential Services and use a range of approaches to empower individuals and help them to be as independent as possible, nurturing their potential with dignity and respect

About you:
We prefer that you have some relevant experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and autism and that you can:

Follow and enhance support plans tailored to the individuals likes and dislikes
