We are looking for a traffic management depot manager. This role will initially be based in our Welwyn Garden City depot to cover maternity leave. Then will assist across all seven depots within our South East region.

Role Responsibility:
• To deliver a first-class service to our customers
• To ensure the efficient day to day operation of the depot.
• Operate under the management of the Regional Manager and to maintain and implement policies, with a priority given to Health & Safety.
• To review the programme of works, liaise with team members to ensure efficient use of the depot resources, and that sufficient resources of the correct competencies are available to deliver works.
• To ensure the Health, Safety and Welfare of employees under your control and those affected by your acts.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have;
• Minimum 2 years’ managerial experience, ideally in a similar role.
• Be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and experience of leading teams in comparable roles.
• Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Regular travel within the South East region is required as part of this role. Traffic Management experience and knowledge is essential as is a full UK driving licence and customer service focus.
