The Role

As a Paralegal / Legal Professional, you will be tasked with delivering a range of legal work across a number of our practice areas. These include Financial Markets and Products, Regulatory, E-Discovery, Real Estate, Personal Injury/Medical Negligence and Corporate.

From our Titanic Quarter location, you will work on a range of high-profile matters alongside market-leading teams that are known for providing first-class levels of service.

Specifically, you will be involved in drafting, reviewing and preparing documentation, contract analysis and data extraction, drafting non-complex banking and finance documents and undertaking ad hoc company searches in support of legal opinions or as part of due diligence.

You will proofread and manage documents, work as part of a document review team and assist with Data Subject Access requests. Additionally, you will liaise with Partners or Associates who are running matters, attend team meetings and interview witnesses and draft theirs statements.

About You

To be considered as a Paralegal / Legal Professional, you will need:

- A minimum of 12 months’ experience of working as a Paralegal / Legal Professional
- A strong educational background, ideally including a law degree with a minimum grade of 2:1
- Experience of handling a varied and busy workload
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Commercial understanding allowing you to foresee upcoming needs and act proactively
- A team player mentality and a reliable and professional nature
- The ability to work methodically and at pace, even when time pressured
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm and a keen, proactive approach
- The drive to exceed expectations and be fully committed to the role

Experience of working in a document review team and a solid understanding of privilege would be beneficial to your application. Previous experience in banking and finance work would also be an advantage, as would experience in conveyancing.
