We’re now looking for a Client Onboarding Officer to join our team in Belfast and play a vital role in the induction of new clients.

The Role

As a Client Onboarding Officer, you will work across our Client Due Diligence and Conflicts Clearance functions, providing key assistance to the onboarding of new clients and processes.

Supporting our Management Team and Fee Earners, you will get involved in a range of ad hoc tasks that will enable their work and ensure our operations remain efficient and run smoothly.

Your role will also involve:

- Researching clients to ensure we meet our regulatory requirements on Client Due Diligence
- Communicating requirements clearly to the client
- Advising on CDD requirements for international offices
- Using screening tools to carry out risk assessments for new clients
- Carrying out research on client finances and establishing any adverse information regarding new clients
- Escalating issues or concerns to management
- Carrying out conflict searches
- Reporting back to Partners and Fee Earners to identify potential conflicts issues

About You

To be considered as a Client Onboarding Officer, you will need:

- Research experience, ideally gained within a legal context
- The ability to pick up new skills quickly
- Strong communications skills
- The ability to build strong relationships

A degree level qualification would be beneficial to your application.
