They are now seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Role

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating projects including costs related to labour, materials and equipment.

Liaising with clients to understand their requirements, budget and expectations, you will provide them with the best solutions to meet their needs and ensure customer satisfaction. You will also work closely with other suppliers to achieve the best possible costings for all projects.

Additionally, you will:

- Assess tender documentation requirements and present tender proposals
- Compile comprehensive analytical net cost estimates for works, including preliminary items
- Identify potential risks and opportunities
- Present net cost tenders for internal adjudication
- Convert estimates into tender submission
- Handover successful tender information so the operational teams are suitably briefed

About You

To be considered as an Electrical Estimator, you will need:

- At least two years’ experience in estimating with a main electrical contractor
- High attention to detail and the ability to understand project costing
- To possess a strong understanding of relevant technology and innovative techniques as well as understanding the commercial aspects of tendering
- The ability to work independently and also be part of an integrated team
- A relevant construction qualification at HND level or equivalent

Other organisations may call this role Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Project Estimator, Cost Estimator, or Cost Planner.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday.
