SES Water supplies 160 million litres of fresh water to over 735,000 people across Kent, Surrey and South London every day. This is a new role in our business, so you will have the chance to really make it your own and make an impact in a number of areas, including change management, organisational design, employee engagement and talent analytics.

The role:

- Salary of up to £45,000 per annum DOE
- Up to 10% employer contribution towards Aviva's Group Personal Pension Plan
- Free on-site parking or in local area
- Working hours: 37 hours per week

As an HR Business Partner, you will ensure the delivery of a consistent, risk-based, business-focused HR service and provide advice to line managers on the full spectrum of employment issues.

In this important role, you will help us to deliver our People Plan while ensuring that SES Water remains a great place to work.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will also:

- Contribute to the development of managerial and leadership capability
- Increase the effectiveness of people management across SES
- Support managers in developing effective workforce structures and succession plans
- Help to build strong talent pipelines and manage recruitment activity up to management level
- Interpret people data and analyse figures on employee turnover, sickness-related absence and cost per hire
- Line manage a Talent and HR Administrator
- Visit other company sites and subsidiaries

About you:

At SES Water, we recruit based on potential, values and fit, rather than just experience and qualifications. We’re seeking a self-assured HR Business Partner who can build rapport and maintain strong working relationships. You will also need:

- To be versatile in your approach to building relationships with different people across the business
- Experience as an HR Business Partner
- Supervisory experience and the ability to coach and lead others
- Knowledge of employee relations and strategic HR best practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A CIPD Level 5 qualification
- A full driving licence

Experience of developing a Reward strategy and job evaluation framework would be desirable but not essential.
