They are now seeking a Head of Kitchen to join them for a nine month contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Role

As the Head of Kitchen, you will be tasked with overseeing our client’s food provision and the management of the Kitchen Team.

You will be involved in all aspects of the management of the kitchen, from ensuring stock levels of essential ingredients to leading each section of the kitchen. You will also ensure that standards are maintained and requirements for HACCP files and health authority inspections are met and exceeded.

Providing line management to your team, you will ensure each team member is equipped to carry out their duties successfully and that everyone provides outstanding service to customers.

About You

To be considered as the Head of Kitchen, you will need:

- At a minimum, a Level 2 Food and Hygiene Certificate and Level 2 NVQ in professional cookery
- A well-organised approach and the ability to deal with a busy kitchen
