Are you an admin support professional with experience of working in a fast-paced office where attention to detail is key?

We are the Institution of Structural Engineers, the world’s largest membership body dedicated to the art and science of structural engineering.

The Role

We’re looking for a Membership Development Officer, known internally as the Professional Review (PR) and CPD Executive.

With a passion to deliver excellent service, you’ll act as the first point of contact for current and prospective members from all around the world; providing guidance and information as required.

You will help our members to work towards professional membership and progress their career by managing the formal training and development processes and activities they engage in. You will utilise excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to manage our CPD audit; the success of which is crucial to the Institution.

You will also act as secretary to our Professional Development Panel and work closely with the chair and panel members to ensure all meetings run smoothly and all agreed actions are delivered successfully.

To be shortlisted for this post, you must have:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience delivering administrative and secretariat support
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills

Knowledge of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) processes and the civil/structural engineering discipline would be advantageous.
