We’re currently looking for two Activity Group Co-ordinators to join us on part-time fixed-term contracts until March 2024. Though largely home based, travel to deliver support groups will be required. One post will cover Birmingham and Solihull and the second post will cover Staffordshire.

Your role

As an Activity Group Co-ordinator, you will help provide support to people living with dementia and/or their carers delivering activity and support groups.

You will assist the Service Manager to co-ordinate and deliver high-quality activities at weekly group sessions.

Specifically, you will:

- Co-ordinate and deliver activity groups
- Design and deliver activities within the groups
- Prepare, set up, and arrange refreshments/meals for groups
- Recruit, develop and motivate volunteers
- Perform a range of administrative duties
- Gather and act on feedback from attendees
- Travel to deliver to the support groups in your area

About you

To join us as an Activity Group Co-ordinator, you will need:

- Experience of delivering activities within a group setting- Previous experience of co-ordinating community activities or services
- Experience of working with volunteers and/or volunteer-led support groups- Knowledge and/or experience of supporting people living with dementia (professional or personal)
- Knowledge and experience of general administrative processes and duties
- Experience of maintaining databases
- Proficiency in MS Office, email and the internet
- A full, valid driving licence

These roles are part-time working 30 hours per week, across four days, on fixed-term contracts until the 31st March 2024. There may be the option to job share.
