We are now looking for a Lecturer in Human Resource Management to join the Institute of Management and Health (IMH) at the Carmarthen and Swansea campuses for a contract until the 31st August 2022 with the possibility of an extension. This is a part-time role, working 22.2 hours per week, principally on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

- THE ROLE -

As a Lecturer in Human Resource Management, you will work in collaboration with the CIPD to deliver a new suite of qualifications across level 3, 5 and 7 People Management Programmes.

Primarily covering the academic year, with the majority of teaching taking place in Carmarthen, you will deliver academically challenging, vocational-related content.

You will develop students’ skills in the area of people practice and management and offer both academic and pastoral feedback and support to students.

- ABOUT YOU -

To be considered as a Lecturer in Human Resource Management, you will need:

- Chartered Membership of the CIPD (or level 7 Associate Membership, with the intention to upgrade on the commencement of duties)
- Experience of delivery of post-compulsory education, training and/or development in a learning or organisational setting
- Professional work experience within the people management field (this experience should be general in nature and not solely in one area such as recruitment)
- A demonstrable ongoing commitment to professional development, scholarship and/or research and project work
- IT proficiency and experience of using e-resources including a willingness to teach and communicate by video-link, VLE or e-mail
- BA (Hons) Degree and/or a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM (or related field)
