We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our inspiring and friendly team at our CQC Nursing Services. Your role will be a permanent position, working part-time, 35 hours per week based in Derbyshire & Warwickshire.

We provide flexible, responsive and needs-led care based on our core beliefs in recovery and the involvement of individuals in the management of their own condition. All our homes have the ultimate aim of enabling residents to move on to more independent accommodation and sustaining their independence by providing access to flexible staff support that meets their changing needs.

What will you be doing?

- Supporting day-to-day clinical management activities of our Derbyshire and Warwickshire Nursing Services under the direction of the Head of Nursing services
- Providing clinical direct in relation to review and assessment of referrals with the lead nurses
- Ensuring the clinical practice and competence of the clinical lead nurses
- Providing clinical relief and cover for services sites as directed by the Head of service
- Working closely with the Head of service to ensure that the service operates in accordance with the service agreement ensuring full compliance with the professional and regulatory standards
- Providing guidance to Registered Managers related to clinical practice and research
- Ensuring effective incident and complaint recording related to clinical incidents in line with relevant policies and procedures

Do you have what we are looking for?

- Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Experience of providing effective clinical supervision, leadership and management of nursing staff
- Ability to work flexibly to provide clinical cover across service sites
- Experience of directly working with people with a severe mental illness
- Experience of working within statutory agencies
- Experience of delivering training and briefings on clinical subjects
