They are now seeking a Customer Services Lead to support and drive sales and promote exceptional customer experiences.

The Role

As the Customer Services Lead, you will be tasked with co-ordinating the Customer Services Team whilst delivering outstanding customer service through your own activities.

You will take on a hands-on team leadership role within a busy sales environment where customer services act as an effective communication liaison point between the Sales Team, customers and purchasing colleagues.

Specifically, this will involve generating quotes, processing customer orders, returns and invoice queries, handling customers’ concerns and operating in both a reactive and proactive manner. You will also undertake some outbound sales activity, contacting customers to inform them of specific offers and for market information as well as assisting with technical queries.

Your role will also involve:

- Escalating more in-depth or serious issues to the Head of Sales & Marketing
- Co-ordinating correspondence between various internal teams and customers
- Supporting trade shows and events
- Scheduling client meetings for the Sales Team

About You

To be considered as the Customer Services Lead, you will need:

- Previous experience in customer service and or accounts receivable department
- Experience in a busy, focused sales office
- Experience in operating a CRM at a high level and work with technical specifications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and influencing skills
- Evidence of strong educational performance in Maths and English

Line management experience would be beneficial to your application. Veterinary, pharmaceutical and/or agricultural industry knowledge would also be an advantage, as would an AMTRA qualification.
