We are now looking for a Grants and Contracts Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Grants and Contracts Manager, you’ll work with the Income Generation Team and the Senior Leadership Team to submit fundraising applications, ensuring we reach our income targets.

In this important role, you’ll focus on researching, writing and submitting high-quality fundraising applications to statutory sources and Trusts and Foundations. Submitting bids at a local, regional and/or national level, you’ll enable us to continue our important work supporting people when they need it most.

You’ll develop and maintain excellent working relationships with our funders and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional donor care and always seeking out new opportunities for repeat funding.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage medium and long term fundraising applications
- Lead the project initiation stage of new funding agreements
- Lead on contract compliance across all grants and contracts
- Line manage the Income Generation Co-ordinator

About You

To join us as a Grants and Contracts Manager, you will need:

- Experience of writing and submitting successful funding applications to trusts, foundations and statutory sources
- The ability to formulate persuasive arguments and effectively communicate them
- Experience of analysing and preparing financial information and presenting it in an accessible format
- Line management experience
- Excellent numeracy and financial literacy skills
- Excellent administration and IT skills including MS Office Suite and databases
- A commitment to equality of opportunity and an understanding of the issues faced by LGBT communities
- An understanding of the need to be discreet and tactful and respect confidentiality
- Knowledge of the current and emerging external policy landscape, particularly in relation to changes to funding mechanisms

Experience of the tender process would be beneficial to your application.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.
