Corporate Partnerships Manager
Contract: Part-time, 28 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 to £29,500, dependent on experience
Location: Happy to talk about flexibility - will need good transport links to attend meetings in major cities

We act because everyone relies on the ocean to survive - from the air we breathe to the food we eat. We have ambitious plans to drive political, cultural and social change for seas that support abundant marine wildlife, sustain livelihoods and unlock the investment in marine solutions for the climate crisis.

Ambitious goals need ambitious people, and we’re looking for that in our Corporate Partnerships Manager. You will play a key role in engaging with businesses of all sizes to work with us, developing our established relationships with corporate donors, and focusing on ensuring that SME sector partners who proactively pursue ocean-friendly business practices are supported, and can grow with us.

You’ll be keen to hear about our work from our teams, and then creating compelling propositions that match to businesses wanting to support our work, as well as to those that don’t support us yet! You’ll have the knack for negotiation but share how valuable we consider our corporate sponsors and make the cultivation of your relationships your priority.

Partnership building: Has a track-record in securing income or services in-kind from companies and commercial donors. Unfazed by making bids with values up to 6 figures. Can work creatively with our team and corporate contacts to build exciting projects together. Maintains professional integrity and keen to work within an ethical fundraising framework.

Delivery: Listens with curiosity, evaluates information well, and can take technical marine/environmental info and present it in accessible bids and presentations. Plans work carefully with respect for impacts on others - makes sure deadlines are met.

Selection process
