About Us

We are Mesothelioma UK, a charity that supports people affected by asbestos-related cancer, mesothelioma. Established in 2009, we offer free access to specialist information, support and education and campaign for improved care and treatment.

We fund a variety of services, projects and research to raise awareness of this disease and help the UK to lead the way in making mesothelioma history through world-class audit, research and clinical trials.

We are currently looking for a Creative Designer to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week. This role is available as either remote or office-based.

The Role

As a Creative Designer, you will support the design needs of our organisation, designing graphics for use in a variety of channels.

You will produce and maintain creative assets, including video graphics and infographics, annual and impact report reports, presentations, templates for staff and case studies and other long-form publications.

Supporting our social media channels, you will create engaging, exciting content, further developing our brand identity through visuals and presence on social media.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage print jobs
- Support the creation and delivery of email marketing campaigns
- Create engaging presentations to influence policy makers and potential donors
- Maintain a library of images for use across our organisation

About You

To be considered as a Creative Designer, you will need:

- Proven experience working in different media, both print and digital
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to produce innovative and original ideas both on your own and as part of a team
- The ability to dissect, interpret and improve creative briefs
- Proficiency in IT, including Mac and Office Suite
- To be educated to degree level in graphic design, multimedia design or related visual or digital arts degree
