Acturis are looking for a Junior Desktop Support Analyst to join their team! You will work across a broad range of technologies and liaise across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. Responsible for first line support to involve answering IT requests via phone, email, live chat or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontechnical terms.

As 1st line Junior Desktop Support Analyst you will work in our Network Operations Centre (NOC) where you will:

- Be the first point of contact for all inbound internal colleague calls / in person requests and tickets logged in our service desk system
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining services central to PC support e.g. Antivirus systems, Windows updates, windows deployment, device use etc
- Escalate Tickets and issues to appropriate engineers · Unlock accounts in Active Directory and perform other tasks in Active Directory
- Using predefined processes, process new joiners and leavers.


Technologies you will be using and maintaining include:

- Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
- Microsoft Server 2016 and Windows 10
- Atlassian products (Jira Service Management, Confluence)
- Networking: Cisco Switches, Switches, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, Wireless WAN

- £18,000


Working Hours

Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm) 40 hours per week.
