We are Cooksongold, and we’ve been proudly supporting jewellers across the country since 1918, with everything from precious metals to jewellery tools. We form part of the Heimerle + Meule Group, one of Europe's largest refiners and processors of precious metals.

Based in the heart of the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, we are a friendly, well-established but growing business of 280 employees. We are currently looking to recruit a Process Engineer to join our team and aid in the development of manufacturing at our Birmingham site.

What you’ll be doing:

This role will work closely with the Engineering team, production and shift managers to maintain all quality, assurance and process controls in the manufacturing process; ensure ongoing continuous improvement and that all Cooksongold standards are adhered to by everyone on site.

What you’ll need to bring to the show:

- Engineering /science qualifications
- Detailed understanding of Statistical Process Control theory; including methods of design and implementation
- Thorough understanding of machine and process capability management
- Metals industry experience
- Team spirit - you’ll need to be prepared to get involved in whatever it takes to get the job done

Hours of Work

Our working week totals 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday. Hours can be flexible but will need to suit business requirements.
