About our Home Care service

Our Home Care service - which is rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission - was established in 1994 to promote independent living.

The service enables older people and vulnerable adults in and around Worthing to lead better quality lives whilst remaining safe and comfortable in their own homes.

About the role

You must be aged 18 or over and have your own transport.
As a result of carrying out single-handed and double-handed calls, using hoisting (lifting) equipment, and supporting people in their own homes, this position can be physically demanding.
We are seeking compassionate and professional Community Care Assistants to assist our clients in the community with personal care, domestic help, emotional support, and other general tasks such as shopping, medication, and mobility.

We are committed to providing our clients with privacy, choice, and dignity. While experience would be an advantage, it is not required for the position. Instead, we are looking for people who are genuine, considerate, and respectful towards their clients as well as their colleagues.

When you join our team, we will discuss with you what’s on offer and your career aspirations. You will meet our friendly, supportive Learning and Development Team and join our own in-house trainers in our fantastic training facilities.

We can help you gain access to relevant professional qualifications, accredited learning programmes, the Care Certificate and other development opportunities.

Our Practice Development Facilitator for the home care service will support you through a comprehensive induction programme when you join us.

Our dedicated office and on-call team are available at any time of the day if you ever need any advice or assistance.
