Due to our continued success and site expansion, we’re now looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team, working across our production facilities on site, here at Myrtle Farm.

The Role - what you’ll be doing

Are you someone who enjoys fault finding and solving problems? Then working as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer here at Thatchers will be just the role for you! The role is all about improving efficiencies across our whole production site. No two days will be the same.

As a Maintenance Engineer here at Thatchers, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks around the site to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard. You will also be responsible for looking after sub-contractors on site, to ensure they meet our high standards. It goes without saying that you will work in accordance with our health and safety procedures.

Specifically, you will:

- Undertake planned maintenance, liaising with production departments
- Ensure that our machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime
- Provide rapid breakdown support
- Diagnose faults and research solutions to stop re-occurring breakdowns
- Establish different maintenance procedures and protocols
- Conduct and oversee maintenance process audits
