We are currently seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our team on a freelance, short term basis and play a vital role in creating exciting design concepts.

The Role

As an Architectural Technologist, you will produce innovative concept designs that impress prospective clients, increase the appeal of our pitches and raise our competitiveness.

With a particular focus on designing spaces for the education and sporting sectors, you will produce cost-effective designs that comply with building regulations and are consistent under post-contract scrutiny.

You will also liaise with clients and stakeholders to agree project briefs, explaining how designs influence performance and functionality so that practical questions can be addressed in the primary stages of planning.

Additionally, you will:

- Support our Design and Sales Department to win contracts
- Produce floorplans, elevations, infrastructures, 3D visuals, Enscape, Flybys and Walkthroughs
- Evaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issues
- Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures
- Identify the surveys required before work can commence
- Liaise with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for statutory approval

About You

To be considered as an Architectural Technologist, you will need:

- At least three years of experience in the Construction Industry as an Architectural Technologist
- Planning Application submission experience including production of required drawings and/or documents
- Experience of working within building regulations
- Excellent Revit and AutoCAD skills
- Good Enscape (or equivalent) skills
- Good MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Art and design skills to complement technical know-how
- A flair for analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving
- An accredited design and/or architecture qualification (preferably degree level or equivalent)
- A full, valid driving licence
