Olleco are looking for a National Account Manager to join our team and manage our Food Manufacturing Customers. This is an amazing opportunity to join our progressive renewables company, grow your career and make a positive environmental impact.

Our Total Resource Management division encompasses all recyclable and residual waste streams giving a holistic view of the environmental impact of our customers. We deploy the most innovative and effective circular economy techniques to deliver the best environmental and financial outcomes for our customers’ commercial waste collections.

A little bit more about the role:

- Responsible for performing all duties in a safe manner
- Work as part of a team to support the delivery of waste minimisation initiatives
- Maintain customer relationships whilst delivering results
- Visit multiple customer sites across the UK
- Undertake waste audits, monitor, track, and report on defined waste minimisation initiatives
- Report against defined objectives and SLAs to stakeholders
- Produce high quality and complex documentation and presentations for customers which are effectively targeted to the audience
- Identify new opportunities to improve performance and move waste up the waste hierarchy driving value in waste
- Lead, engage and motivate to take our customers on the waste minimisation journey
- Undertake regular account reviews to identify opportunities and risks
- Review technology and innovation relating to the food retail and manufacturing sector
- Manage issue resolution as appropriate
- Develop our business relationship with allocated customers and stakeholders
- Deliver excellent service to your client to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and review budget information

What are we looking for? As you can imagine, you’ll need a broad range of personal skills to succeed, but we don’t expect you to have everything from the start! We will coach, train, and support you, it’s more important that you have the right interpersonal skills and the intelligence to grasp our business and take us forward.

We will be looking for:

- Proven track record of excellent Account Management within the waste management industry (minimum two years experience, covering a wide spectrum of waste streams)
- Proven track record of delivering waste reduction programmes for customers (beneficial if demonstrated in the food sector)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to challenge and influence behaviours to achieve results
- Attention to detail and track performance against objectives/targets
- Experience of producing high-quality documentation
- Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering project-based activities on time and to a high standard
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Strong IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Office)
- A full, clean driving licence
- Ideal candidates will be educated to a degree level
