We are seeking trainee Unified Comms Engineers, due to a shortage of skilled people in the UK, you will go through an 18-month training programme where you will gain necessary skills required to do the job

The Position
Job Title: Trainee Unified Comms Engineer
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician
Location: Bolton, BL4. You will be required to travel across the UK to sites.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, hours vary
Salary: £13,000 - £16,000 pa

Responsibilities:

Installing, connecting, and testing cabling
Diagnosing and fixing faults in systems
Building and testing telecommunications / AV / CCTV components and equipment.
General administration support to the Service team.
Talking customers through basic user instructions after initial set up.
Installing/Fault finding routers, modems, and network switches
Visiting customer premises
Working in the field
Overtime when required.
Update the company ticketing system.

Personal Skills:

Be a quick learner
Be able to think in a structured manner
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
High school diploma: GSCE’s or equivalent

Knowledge & Experience:

No experience required as full training will be given to all successful candidates.
A driving licence would be highly desirable
