Caer Gwent combines superb residential living with 24-hour expert nursing care, supporting individuals with complex health conditions, particularly focusing on palliative (i.e. end of life) support.

Guild Care positions you to provide effective care in accordance with its policies and procedures, and in compliance with best practice principles. You and your co-workers will help each other accomplish tasks while you get to know one another.
The staffing ratio in our homes is high, with an adaptable team formed around the residents' needs. In addition to providing nursing care around the clock, we have dedicated Health & Wellbeing Coordinators who provide regular and stimulating activities tailored to each individual.

We are looking for a Night Registered Nurse to join the team at Caer Gwent. You will be responsible for ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of clinical care. It is your duty to ensure the highest standards are achieved, including providing person-centered care, clinical care and dementia care throughout the home, through your strong clinical knowledge and established people management and leadership skills.

It is your duty to work with the care team to ensure continuous assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the residents' care. With your skills, you will be able to assist residents with all their needs, therapeutic interventions, as well as meaningful activities.

Job description

Essential
- Nursing Qualification and current NMC PIN number
- Satisfactory DBS check

Desirable
- Approved First Aid certificate
- Experience of working in a care home environment/non-hospital setting
- Previous experience in Dementia Care/demonstrates awareness in Dementia
- Management Experience
