Our receptionists are one of the most visible members of the front office team, and are among the first people that visitors or those making phone calls to our services will communicate with. As such, you will play a key role in providing our residents, clients, and their families with the best possible customer service.

Job Requirements

Essential

? Proven experience with excellent customer service and relationship building
? Proven experience with handling sensitive information and ensuring confidentiality
? Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal skills every day to communicate and interact with residents, their families, visitors and colleagues
? Strong organisation skills, able to manage a diverse and busy workload
? Strong Microsoft IT skills, including Excel and Word documents and working with databases
? Able to deliver on deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
? Ability to use own initiative
? The post holder must be able to provide a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check

Desirable

? Previous Office experience
? Previous Reception experience
? Experience of working with older people/demonstrates awareness of Dementia
? Passion for the work of Guild Care - providing support to frailer older people, people living with dementia and people living with learning disabilities
? Ability to demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and an unwavering commitment to the delivery of outstanding services
? Extensive experience of building successful internal working relationships across departments in a charity, engaging a range of stakeholders.
