We’re now looking for a Graduate Trainee Quarry Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Graduate Trainee Quarry Manager, you will assist in the safe and efficient operation of our Darrington quarry sites.

In this exciting and hands-on role, you will gain sufficient qualifications, practical knowledge and experience of quarrying in order to progress from trainee to Quarry Manager.

Your duties will include operating the sites in accordance with Health and Safety protocols, undertaking regular site inspections and risk assessments and keeping up to date with relevant legislation and industry developments. You will also promote environmentally considerate work practices.

About You

To be considered as a Graduate Trainee Quarry Manager, you will need:

- Experience and knowledge of the quarrying and waste industries
- A strong interest in the extractives industry, geology and engineering
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in IT
- To be educated to A-level standard or possess an equivalent NVQ/QCF in a relevant subject
