We are looking for an IT Project Manager in London (working remotely up to 4 days per week).

The position holder will oversee the Supply Chain Solution PMO function (Application Project Manager and EDI Project Manager) and ensure the on-time delivery of EU SCS development projects.

Key responsibilities:

1. IT Projects Management
a. Working with Client Development Managers, PMO office and development teams to coordinate the successful implementation of a number of strategic IT projects.
b. Work across global development teams (Czech Republic, Hong Kong and USA) to ensure that projects are understood by domestic and remote teams and delivered to agreed timelines
c. Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment and handoff to support.
d. Delegation of projects to appropriate members of the PMO office while maintaining overall responsibility of delivery of projects.
e. Perform post project reviews and improvement plans
f. Overall responsibility for the preparation of estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project.
g. Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues.
h. Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
i. Define the business requirements of projects using appropriate documentation
j. Resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies to maintain project progression
k. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences
l. Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle


2. People
a. Manage stakeholder expectations through agreed communication channels and schedules
b. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team
c. Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies, both in terms of self and across the project team
d. Manage annual leave, T&A and PDRs in accordance with Company policy, whilst ensuring adequate absence cover.


Key requirements:

• Strong IT project management experience, with a track record of successful project delivery
• Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, SCRUM, SDLC / Waterfall
• Customer facing experience
• Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills across functions, cultures and geographies including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
• Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
• Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from sponsors, team members, stakeholders and peers
• Experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective
• A high degree of organisational, communication and administrative skills, with a strong delivery focus
• Ability to motivate self and others, working alongside operational teams to meet challenging deadlines
• Able to engage and influence others, building and maintaining strong relationships - both internally and externally within all levels of the business
• Strong emotional intelligence - able to manage and mitigate conflict, get people on the same page.
• PC literate - MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Project, MS Teams
