We are currently looking for an ICorr / ICATS Trainer to join our brilliant team on a part-time basis.

The Role

As an ICorr / ICATS Trainer, you’ll be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality Institute of Corrosion (ICorr) and ICATS courses and training to students.

In this key role, you will train students in the ICorr disciplines, as well as supporting the co-ordination and logistics of training and the development of the courses and learning materials

Liaising with the ICorr Manager, you will assist in the creation of yearly planners for classroom, offsite and overseas requirements.

Additionally, you will:

- Invigilate and mark examinations, ensuring awarding body standards are met
- Manage training equipment
- Liaise with potential customers and overseas training partners

About You

To be considered as an ICorr / ICATS Trainer, you will need:

- As a minimum an ICorr Level 2 Protective Coating Inspector qualification (SSPC, NACE, AMPP, BGAS or FROSIO level 2 qualifications, will also be considered)
- To be willing to train and upgrade to ICorr Level 3 if not already held
- Experience of working in a team in a collegiate way
- Demonstrable organisational and time management skills
- The ability to assist with the production of coursework materials
- The creative skills to plan and deliver lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to engage students and build professional relationships with training partners
- Excellent written skills
- A high degree of problem-solving techniques and flexibility in training delivery
- To be proficient in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel and Outlook

Ideally, you will be qualified in an extensive range of ICorr and ICATS methods.

This position requires a DBS check.
