- THE ROLE -

The Northern Ireland Public Health Research Network (NIPHRN) Knowledge Broker will be responsible for planning and delivering knowledge exchange activities of the Northern Ireland Public Health Research Network. A Knowledge Broker is a person who acts as an intermediary between two or more environments or types of organisations, and hence are sometimes called ‘boundary spanners’. The post-holder will be based at Ulster University but will be expected to work closely with a range of our Network partners (e.g., Public Health Agency, local authorities). The NIPHRN aims to facilitate public health research, extend the public health evidence base, increase engagement between academics and public health research stakeholders, and provide research support to teams applying for research grants. It aims to increase the quantity and quality of public health research in Northern Ireland, improve policy and practice and contribute to better public health outcomes.

- ABOUT YOU -

- Hold a degree or equivalent in public health, health sciences, science communication or related area
- Hold a PhD in a relevant area in public health, health sciences or related area
