An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Stevenage Direct Services Business Support team. This proactive team provides a range of support for the delivery of our environmental services, including waste, streets and grounds maintenance, fleet and allotments. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate individual to join us to provide support to the fleet and workshop team.

The post holder will provide administration, technical and financial support, including co-ordinating vehicle testing and service schedules, assisting with procurement and invoice processing, and managing fuel stocks.

The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• A flexible outlook and attitude to working in a customer focussed team.
• A dynamic, enthusiastic, pro-active and creative approach
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Be able to work on your own initiative and have excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills
