The Company

Set up in 2003, our client manufactures and supplies a range of innovative protective glass solutions to customers in the private and public sectors, to meet a wide range of needs including safety and security.

They are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their expanding team working from their purpose-built facility in Greater Belfast.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will provide inspiring and motivational leadership across the Production Department, supporting the smooth and efficient running of all activities.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will promote quality and H&S across the team and ensure all customers receive an exceptional and timely service.

Specifically, your role will involve:

- Preparing customer quotations
- Overseeing material ordering and goods inwards
- Preparing and managing weekly production schedule against customer requirements
- Overseeing the inspection and completion of goods
- Monitoring levels of production consumables
- Managing Quality Management Systems
- Managing and monitoring Health & Safety
- Maintaining all required records
- Supporting product development
- Providing guidance and training to the team

About You

To be considered for the position of Operations Manager, you will need:

- Experience of working in a similar role
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong IT skills (Excel and Word)
- Effective communication and organisational skills

This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
