We are now looking for a Visitor Campaigns Manager to join our team in Helmsley on a three-year fixed term contract.

The Role

As the Visitor Campaigns Manager, you will support our marketing activities to raise the profile and position of the North York Moors.
Assisting with the delivery of our strategy and business plan, you will manage the development of our destination marketing campaigns.
You will also develop opportunities in influencer marketing and cultivate partnerships to amplify messaging and aid third-party content creation.
Additionally, you will create destination-focused content for our website and various social media platforms.

About You

To be considered as a Visitor Campaigns Manager, you will need:

- A minimum of three years’ relevant experience
- Strong campaign organisation and delivery experience, including measuring and reporting on their effectiveness
- Experience of inspirational content writing and creating engaging digital content
- Evidence of using social media for effective publicity across different platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories, Facebook Live and YouTube Shorts
- The ability to repurpose content using plain English and write excellent SEO web content
- A good understanding of content management systems
- Excellent communication, proofreading and editing skills
- A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, digital communications, or related subject
- A full, valid driving licence

Experience of liaising and managing relationships with external marketing agencies would be beneficial to your application, as would videography skills, including knowledge of video editing software.

Knowledge of the North York Moors and the surrounding area would be equally advantageous.

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Please note, you will need to be available to work occasional weekends and evenings as well as be willing to work alone in the countryside when required e.g., when filming video content on location.
