The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is an employment-focused university, dedicated to ensuring students from diverse backgrounds develop the academic knowledge and practical skills to thrive.
We placed 13th for teaching quality in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022 and 8th in the UK for ‘Social Inclusion’ in this league table this year.
We are now looking for two Website Editors to join our Carmarthen or Swansea campus on a full time 12 months fixed term basis working 37 hours per week.
For one of the posts, Welsh language communication will be essential. For the second post, this will be desirable.

- THE ROLE -
The University is undertaking a review of its existing website and will be developing a new site which will go live in 2023; these roles will play an integral part of this exciting project and help shape the UWTSD brand moving forward.

- ABOUT YOU -
To be considered as a Website Editor, you will need:
- A UWTSD degree
- Meet the qualifying criteria for participation in the project (listed on Job Description)
- Excellent writing and editing skills with an acute attention to detail
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) to a high standard
- Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh, verbally and written
- An understanding of digital marketing

It would also be beneficial if you have:
- Experience of updating websites using a CMS platform
- Experience with software such as InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
- An understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO)
- Knowledge of website analytical tools e.g. Google Analytics
