About You:
• Fashion Retail shop experience and/or a proven record of visual merchandising
• Experience of staff supervision
• Leadership qualities such as fairness, decisiveness, diplomacy, tact and the ability to self- motivate and motivate others.
• Able to work as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure and on own initiative
• Ability to work in a target driven environment
• Must be able to undertake some manual handling operations
• Flexible approach to working hours and working week
• Experience of EPOS Systems
• Basic IT skills including email, Microsoft word
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Good communication skills
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to embody and live the hospice values: United we will be: positive, professional and passionate

About the role:
• Be responsible for the efficient and effective day to day management of a retail outlet.
• Be the main keyholder for the store, attending emergency call outs as necessary and allowing access to the emergency services, contractors, etc as required. This may involve working outside normal hours.
• Be responsible for achieving the sales budget, trading company budget and gift aid budget. This will include analysing epos reports and taking necessary steps to maximise the sales in the store.
• Be responsible for sorting, categorising and pricing all donated goods, as defined by Hospice Policy, through the Regional Manager, to include working in the retail distribution centre as and when required.
