We are currently recruiting four Section Leaders to join our team at our site in Leeds and support the effective operation of our warehouse for our key Howdens contract.

Successful candidates will be required to complete 2 weeks of training at our Derby site.

The Role

As a Section Leader, you will provide pivotal support to ensure the effective running of our warehouse for our key Howdens contract.

Managing the day-to-day activities of your team of General Operatives, you will ensure customer requirements are achieved in a timely manner.

You will brief staff, oversee employee relations procedures and ensure that goods are handled in a safe manner to ensure damage, injury and harm are minimised.

About You

To be considered as a Section Leader, you will need:

- Previous experience leading a team in a fast-moving warehouse operation (ideally 3PL)
- A detail-oriented approach and strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good prioritisation skills
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages and e-mail
- A full counterbalance licence

Awareness of manual handling techniques would be beneficial to your application.

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week with a 30 mins unpaid break, in the shift pattern of 22.00 to 6.30, Monday to Friday.
