Power BI Developer

You will be responsible for transforming data from multiple sources in relevant business information, using interactive dashboards and reports. Converting business requirements into technical specifications, you will develop KPI scorecards and desktops using Power BI Desktop. Through effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business, you will be an evangelist for Predictive Analytics, developing and providing training for end users and show the users the art of the possible with thought provoking visualisations.

You will:

-Design, develop and deploy analytical solutions in Power BI
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data quality and reliability of data
- Develop Business Intelligence and analytical solutions including testing, deployment and maintenance
- Implement data quality improvements across all departments
- Develop documentation for data solution
- Query using SQL in multiple databases including MSSQL Server

About You:

You have hands-on experience of delivering solutions in Power BI and are educated to degree level or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or another relevant subject along with MS Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate. You have;
- Expertise in database design, relational and dimensional modelling, star schema and snowflake scheme
-A working understanding of Power Platform
- Previous experience as a Power BI Developer, creating and providing training to end users.
- Experience of using API’s to get data
- Experience of data security, implementing row-level security and an understanding of application security layer models.

Along with this knowledge you will be able to demonstrate collaborative working with teams, technical and non-technical, delivering data in a format that enables business decisions. You will have high standards of attention to detail and be able to deliver multiple projects.
