We are now looking for an Administrator (Accounts payable) to join our Swansea campus on a full time fixed term basis (Maternity cover to possibly 31 July 2023) working 37 hours per week.

- THE ROLE -
Ensuring that the University’s suppliers are paid promptly and within the credit terms on receipt of a correctly prepared invoice, which includes an authentic purchase order number.

Liaising with internal staff and external suppliers to ensure that the invoices are correctly prepared and paid within the credit terms.

- ABOUT YOU -
To be considered as an Administrator (Accounts Payable), you will need:
- Good general level of education, including 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above, including Maths and English
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills.
- Ability to apply attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent IT skills with experience of working with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Outlook and Excel in a work or education environment.
- Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised
- Able to work as part of a team and in partnership with others.
- Demonstrates appropriate confidentiality
- Able and prepared to work flexibly, including travel between campuses

It would also be beneficial if you are:
- Educated to degree level
- Previous experience of working in Higher Education
- Previous experience of working with purchase ledger
- Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh (oral and written).
