Retail Media and Book Volunteer

Volunteer to help Sue Ryder to be there when it matters.

About us
Our busy large format shop in Peterlee takes a lot of looking after. The generosity of people donating items and the support from our customers means that we are looking for support to sort donations and to help run the shop.

About you
You will support our media and book department by keeping it up to date and well displayed so that we attract customers. This could be through placing in alphabetical order and or categorising. You will help us to achieve the best-selling price by researching and recognising items of value or interest collectors.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
