The Role

The successful candidate will be managing the internal teams at our Bristol Service Centre (City Centre) and Wales Service Centre (Pontypridd) and must be able to commute to both locations.

You will be managing the customer service and internal sales teams at 2 Service Centre locations, delivering outstanding customer experience and operational excellence, through innovative and effective leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide a clear vision alongside a robust tactical plan for the department to ensure outstanding customer experience is consistently delivered
- Provide effective coaching and support to team members, delivering continuous improvement
- Monitor performance in line with team member objectives to ensure these are achieved
- Develop and implement a tactical sales plan that is focused on expanding business levels with existing customers alongside
- Instil an exceptional ‘customer first’ customer experience ethic throughout the Service Centre
- Ensure all team members focus on the customer and find ways to meet customer needs converting business strategy into practical day to day activities

Your skills

- Ability to develop/apply KPI’s to measure and improve operational and sales performance
- Demonstrates effective team management and successful sales experience
- Experience of high volume, low margin distribution industry
