About us
Our Tewkesbury shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. Our Sue Ryder Tewkesbury shop is situated at the start of the Bishop’s Walk pedestrian shopping district. With lots of other shops and easy access to the High Street it's the perfect place to start your shopping trip.Our shop has been open for several years and has a regular flow of customers and donors, meaning we have a community feel as well as a great selection of stock. Alongside new and second hand clothing for men, women and children, you’ll also find entertainment goods, books and furniture at competitive prices and of the highest of quality.

About you
Do you have an eye for a bargain, get excited about sustainable fashion, love helping customers discover pre-loved treasures and want to join a friendly team - if so we want you.

This role will also be supporting our shop behind the scenes, back of house, sorting donations, getting things ready for sale and making sure the shop is kept stocked and ready for our customers.

Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18. We regret that we cannot proceed with your application if you are not yet 18.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
