The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is an employment-focused university, dedicated to ensuring students from diverse backgrounds develop the academic knowledge and practical skills to thrive.

We are now looking for two Graduate Artist Mentor to join our Swansea campus on a part time, fixed term basis working 15 hours per week until 31 July 2023.

- THE ROLE -
Swansea College of Art is offering Graduates the opportunity to work within the Institute to support the student experience in developing bilingualism as well as to gain valuable work experience. This offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Welsh Medium Co-Ordinator to support the development of Welsh Medium provision within Art and design.

- ABOUT YOU -
To be considered as a Graduate Artist Mentor, you will need:
- An undergraduate or postgraduate level qualification within art and design.
- Experience of a current academic practice within art and design
- Excellent written communication skills for the effective use of social media for promotion, as well as creating and maintaining appropriate online content
- Effective presentations skills
- Possesses strong interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with staff and students and other stakeholders
- Ability to support and encourage others
- Ability to prioritise, and make sound and timely decisions using own initiative
- Ability to work effectively as an individual, as part of a team and in partnership with others
- Ability to work unsupervised and to direct own work
- The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is essential this post.
