Set against expansive heather moorland tops, each valley has its own distinct charm, from crags and waterfalls to an underground labyrinth of caves.
We’re currently looking for a HR Support Officer to join the team, on a part-time (24 hours per week) permanent basis, based at our Bainbridge office near Leyburn, with the opportunity for a blended working arrangement to include some working from home if preferred.

The Role

Providing support across a wide variety of administrative and operational functions, you will take an active part in the full employment cycle and the relevant HR processes, including recruitment, induction, probation, retention and leavers

Assisting with the administration of the Authority’s annual appraisal process and maintaining and updating our HR database systems, including the HR systems (Civica and Webrecruit) and the e-learning system (ELMS) will be a large part of the role.

You will work closely with the Senior Administrator (responsible for payroll) in the provision of accurate HR data to inform the payroll system

About You

With experience of working in an administrative role, you will have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Experience of working in a HR or learning and development role would be beneficial to your application, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

As we’re a small team of three, you’ll need to be a supportive team member with great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
