The Company’s Tyrone plant in Coalisland, in collaboration with Ulster University, has established a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) and is offering an exciting opportunity for a graduate to work with the McCloskey team as a KTP Associate to develop a pioneering web based Automated Manufacturing Placement System (AMPS) for the current and next-generation range of McCloskey machines. The AMPS will provide a vital resource for manufacturing decision making.

- ABOUT YOU -

The postholder will be required to hold:

Applicants should hold a Hons degree in Computer Science / Computing / Computer Engineering or a related discipline, at 2:1 or above. In addition, a higher degree in Computing or Computer Engineering or other relevant discipline (or be in the final stages of submission) would be desirable.

The Associate should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and prove a willingness to learn and think creatively. Experience in software engineering with demonstrable skills in web-based software application development are attractive attributes. Evidence of the ability to undertake and complete significant projects is an important factor and knowledge of data analytics would be a bonus.

The post holder must be able to start the post no later than the 27 September 2022.
