We are now looking for a LECTURER IN MARKETING to join our SWANSEA campus on a Full time, Permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

-THE ROLE-

The post of Lecturer is primarily concerned with learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and contributing to the business programmes in Swansea. The post holder will be expected to lead teaching and learning related to Marketing, and will also contribute to the wider business portfolio. The post holder will be expected to deliver academically challenging, vocational related content incorporating innovative teaching and assessment methods to develop students’ competence and capability in Marketing. The post holder will be expected to engage with organisations outside of the University to ensure real world innovations are integrated in to the curriculum and delivery. This includes organising extra-curricular, innovative events to encourage student engagement with industry.
Critical to the post is experience of working in Marketing within industry, and academic capability to deliver across a range of levels.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered as a Lecturer in Marketing you will need
- To hold a good honours degree, postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Teaching qualification / or relevant teaching experience.
- Be experienced in teaching, delivery and assessment across a diverse range of learners in Marketing
- Significant work experience in Marketing, including digital marketing
- Experience of working with a wide network of individuals and organisations at a local and national level
- Highly digitally literate with experience of using e-resources including a willingness to teach by video-link, VLE or website delivery 8) Experience of using innovative approaches to learning and teaching
- Proactive and innovative approach to create new learning opportunities
- Evidence of ability to balance competing pressures of teaching, administrative demands and deadlines

It would also be beneficial if you are
- Currently studying for or achieved a PhD
- Membership of a relevant professional body
- Experience in the design and development of module content
- Ability to communicate in the medium of Welsh (oral and written)
