We are currently looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our friendly team at The Exchange in Birmingham, on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will act as a first point of contact for our clients and residents, providing exceptional customer service and managing enquiries.

Managing enquiries via our inbox, telephone and resident’s communication portal, you will develop a good understanding of customer needs and escalate work as necessary.

On a day-to-day basis, this might mean that you will respond to requests for work to be undertaken on properties or document the collection and return of keys.

Additionally, you will support the Property Manager with a range of admin tasks including dealing with insurance claims and preparing enquiries for pre-contract approval.

Who we’re looking for

A professional who puts the customer first. Our Centrick family values focus on providing the very best customer service, so we’re looking for an individual with experience from a customer service environment, preferably within a call-centre or helpdesk.

A fantastic communicator. As this is a client facing role, we’re looking for an individual who can build a brilliant rapport with our clients and customers over the telephone and email.


An individual with an eye for detail. Property is a fast-paced industry, so we’re looking for a quick worker with excellent spelling and grammar and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ideally, you will have previous experience within the property sector, either gained in block, property, or estate management.
