We are now looking for a Management Accountant to join our team at our Bletchley Site on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will support the delivery of financial services throughout our organisation.

Specifically, you will prepare periodic re-forecasts, annual budgets and produce new reporting with the aim of improving understanding of waste profiles, waste flows and key profit drivers within the division.

Driving financial awareness throughout the division, you will assist operations to understand financial performance by providing guidance to the key drivers and visiting sites.

Alongside the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll create initiatives to enhance regional financial performance and identify areas of improvement, implementing changes to increase the effectiveness of financial processes.

Additionally, you will:

- Critically review divisional monthly results
- Conduct monthly business reviews
- Assist in the development of waste flow models
- Assist in developing and implementing business processes for new and revised contracts

About You

To be considered as a Management Accountant, you will need:

- To be a Qualified Accountant, Part-qualified Accountant and/or a QBE Accountant
- A track record of providing excellent financial support
- Experience of working with multi-disciplined teams
- Knowledge of SAP finance systems or equivalent
- Knowledge of Cognos BI and reporting tools or similar
- A background in the waste, manufacturing and/or processing industry or the utility sector
- Strong analytical skills
- A customer-focused attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- IT proficiency, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel
- A full, valid driving licence
