About the role

We have a great opportunity for a proven time-served fitter to work as part of our repairs and maintenance team in our modern Vehicle Repair Shop. Our grounds care equipment is varied - ranging from tractors and ride on mowers to chainsaws and strimmers. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday as part of a team of five who are also at times required to support with the maintenance and repairs of our road going vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to improve their skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

You will have

• A relevant qualification in the maintenance and repair of agricultural or grounds equipment
• Practical and working knowledge of repairs and maintenance of horticultural and/or agricultural items of plant, including welding
• The ability to repair and maintain both petrol and diesel vehicles
• A licence to drive Class 2 HGVs - would be desirable but not essential
